Same Day Crowns

We use state-of-the-art imaging and on-site technology to create custom same-day crowns. Our Computer-Aided Design/Computer-Aided Manufacturing, or CAD/CAM, system makes it possible for us to create a crown within the day. Now patients can have a restored tooth within hours instead of within weeks. Our same-day crowns have a lifelike appearance, restoring teeth to their proper look and shape just like your other teeth.

How it Works

When a patient needs a tooth crowned, we start by preparing the tooth. All decay needs to be removed and shaped for it to fit correctly within a crown. Patients that receive a traditional crown need a mold sent to an outside lab where it is fabricated and can take up to two weeks to complete. Our North Ogden office same-day crowns are created as you wait. We will take digital pictures inside your mouth and the computer system will create a 3D model of your teeth. We can use the computer system to create a twin replica of your tooth on the opposite side of your mouth. The dental material we select will closely match your own teeth to give you a beautiful
smile.

Once the crown has been created, small enhancements are made to the crown’s surface. The crown will be bonded to your tooth and you can walk out of our office with a permanent crown.
